Awareness Dangerous Goods by Sea (E-learning)

The e-learning course Awareness Dangerous Goods by Sea is based on the training requirements of Chapter 1.3 of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code.

For whom **

The course is intended for employees of shippers, freight forwarders, stevedores and shipping companies who are involved in the handling of dangerous goods that need to be transported by sea-going vessel, such as warehouse employees, but also for office staff involved in the booking of sea freight.

Duration of the course
This E-learning consists of 14 modules and takes 3-4 hours. Each module is concluded with a short test. To succeed, a result of 80% is required, calculated on all modules combined.

Previous education
Common sense and motivation are all that is needed to successfully complete this course.

Certification
Participants who complete the E-learning with a result of at least 80% will receive a certificate.

Course material
The E-learning is interactive wherever possible, with images so that the explanation is easy to follow. If desired, the course can be interrupted at any time. If the course is then restarted, it will continue where you left off.

Developers
The course was developed by experienced teachers, who approach the subject matter not only from the theory of IMDG regulations, but also from daily practice.

Recognition as a training institution
SCS Training & Consultancy BV is a training and examination institute recognized by the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management.
