Dangerous Goods by Air – Recurrent
The recurrent course Dangerous Goods by Air leads to the certificate required by law for the A, B, C or E recognition for air transport dangerous goods issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
For Whom
The recurrent course is intended for employees of consignors, agents, cargo handlers and airline companies who are involved in preparing or checking hazardous materials to be transported by air and who hold a certificate for air transport of hazardous materials.
Duration of the course
The recurrent course takes 2 days.
Preliminary training
Common sense, good knowledge of the English language and motivation is all that is required to successfully complete this course.
Course materials
The course is taught using the latest edition of the English language IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. This manual will be given to participants on loan for the duration of the course. In addition, each participant will receive a comprehensive course book, in which the material is clearly discussed and explained in the Dutch language. This course book contains a large number of exercises to prepare the student for the exam.
Location
This course is taught by experienced and practice-oriented instructors at one of our training locations or, when desired, in-company.
Certification
Participants who pass the exam with a result of at least 70% receive a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Waterways (Inspectorate for the Environment and Transport) for categories 1, 3 and 6.
When desired (with a pass rate of at least 80%), registration with IATA in Montreal can also take place. However, there are costs associated with this registration.

This basic course has been developed by SCS Training & Consultancy and is based on the training requirements of the ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
