During the Emergency Response course, specialized G4S instructors will train you in two days to become a certified emergency responder. The course covers various components: life-saving operations, firefighting, alerting, clearance and communication. Each component begins with a brief theoretical introduction to support the practical training. The focus is on practice: a good emergency responder must practice, practice, and practice again!
For whom
In the event of a workplace incident, the emergency response officer is the first to take action until professional emergency responders arrive. The emergency response officer must be able to extinguish a small fire, quickly and safely evacuate a building, perform life-saving actions (elements of first aid), provide CPR and use an AED, communicate effectively during an emergency, and act as the point of contact for the professional emergency services on site.
