Founded in the 1990s by Hans van der Maat and Huib den Dikken, the second generation is now at the helm. Led by Erik den Dikken, a close-knit team of professionals dedicate themselves daily to providing our customers with optimal support. In doing so, we work closely together, both within our team and with our clients. In the jungle of rules, laws and regulations, we are an enquirer, extension and partner.

Special Cargo is an authority and knowledge leader in the field of dangerous goods. We naturally put our knowledge into practice for our customers, during the packaging, documentation, transport and storage of dangerous goods. But we also take responsibility by training logistics professionals. Every year we train over 30,000 students. In this way, we enable others to also work according to applicable laws and regulations.
To keep things clear, we have divided our services into two branches. Special Cargo Services focuses on our dangerous goods storage and transportation services. Special Cargo College’s activities are all about sharing knowledge: as an educator with a large course offering, but also as an external safety consultant and civil aviation security advisor.
