As of July 1, IATA’s competency-based training method has been implemented. Companies in the air transport of dangerous goods must now start training their employees according to this CBTA method. This has some issues for them. Over the past period, we have informed our customers about this as best we can, with knowledge articles, newsletters and knowledge sessions. For people who want to know the ins and outs, we have now also put together a white paper. AND our course offerings are now completely CBTA-proof. So be sure to take a look!
Other interpretation
IATA CBTA (Competency Based Training & Assessment) is the new training method for the transport of dangerous goods by air, which has just become mandatory in the Netherlands. This implementation will have the necessary impact for companies in this sector. Because being and staying compliant is of course necessary, but that has now taken on a different meaning. To tell our customers what this means for them, we held knowledge sessions on this new approach last month. They were very happy with it!
Ralf Weekers of Flex on the knowledge session: “It was an informative and pleasant meeting. As always: Transparent, friendly, clear!”
