Starting next January 1, Special Cargo College has a new training location: the RDM Werf, a historic building in the port of Rotterdam. This new location will replace the building on the Laanweg in Spijkenisse. If you have registered for a training next year, rest assured: all scheduled trainings will take place at an even more central location in the Rijnmond region.
Since 2018, we welcome you as a customer at (among others) our training location Laanweg 4 in Spijkenisse. This has also put Special Cargo College on the map in the Rijnmond region as a reliable training partner in the field of dangerous goods.
Modern look
Special Cargo has since grown into an international full-service organization in dangerous goods logistics, of which Special Cargo College is a part. With this growth and professionalization also come training locations that match our ambitions: locations with a modern look, high-quality facilities and an atmosphere that reflects our quality and expertise.
Looking for suitable new location
After careful consideration, we have come to the conclusion that the location on Laanweg no longer meets these high standards. We started looking for a suitable new location, and are pleased to announce that we have found it, in the Dokhaven on the Nieuwe Maas: the RDM Werf. Our new address is: Heijplaatstraat 23, 3089 JB, Rotterdam.
Red Room
This historic shipyard of the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij (RDM) has become a “hotspot for innovation,” with innovative companies, technology education and testing facilities. The old executive building houses the so-called Red Room, which we are renting from January 1. Located in the heart of the port of Rotterdam, this is exactly the location that suits the look and professionalism of Special Cargo College.
What does this mean to you?
From January 1, we welcome you to this new location in Rotterdam. All courses will continue as usual, in your familiar way with the same teachers. This new location has extensive parking facilities, and the catering will also be excellent. A nice detail: the location is also accessible by water cab: stop 92 is in front of the door.
