This course trains to become an Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor inland waterways . Every company that transports dangerous goods by inland waterway or performs operations related to such transport (packing, loading, filling or unloading) must appoint a safety advisor. The safety advisor is an expert on the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods.

The ADN Safety Advisor refresher course is designed for safety advisors working for companies that transport dangerous goods on inland waterways. Think of shipping companies, shipping companies and distribution centers.

- Classification and associated (chemical) properties of dangerous goods incl. classification

- Exemptions, 1000-point table, limited quantities and eccepted quantities

- Loading and unloading and related regulations
- Reporting procedures, prevention measures
- Use and construction of containers, tanks, MEGCs, MEMU and wagons
- Marking & labeling
- Construction regulations

- Duration: Basic 5 days – refresher 3 days
