Learn to prepare dangerous goods for sea transport in accordance with IMDG Code

About this training

The international Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) training course leads to the international Maritime Dangerous Goods certificate. This is recognized by the Environmental and Transport Inspectorate as a legal requirement for training. The course is taught using the latest edition of the English IMDG Code and is based on the training requirements in Chapter 1.3.

For whom.

The course is intended for employees of consignors, agents, stevedores, shipbrokers and shipping companies, who are engaged in preparing or controlling dangerous goods to be transported by ocean vessel.

Practical Information

  • Duration: three days (basic); two days (repeat)
  • Time: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Price: €750 excl. books and VAT (basic); €550 excl. books and vat (repeat)
  • Preliminary training: none (basic); valid Basic international Maritime Dangerous Goods Certificate (repeat)
  • Course materials provided: comprehensive course book, with clear explanations and a large number of exercises to prepare for the exam
