Expert webinar by: Special Cargo College, Van Traa Lawyers, Vereniging voor Veiligheidsadviseurs (VVA)
Companies dealing with dangerous goods must comply with strict regulations to ensure human and environmental safety. This applies at least to companies engaged in the transportation, transshipment, storage, and import/export of dangerous goods. The authorities (such as the ILT, but also port and environmental authorities) grants the necessary permits, monitors compliance, enforces where necessary. Here, companies may have to deal with legal issues in the interaction with the authorities, but also among themselves, following an incident. Liability and contractual disputes are never far away in that case.
Handle potential crisis situations
Special Cargo College, Van Traa Lawyers and the VVA see that many companies need guidance on how to act in these types of potential crisis situations. Therefore, they have joined forces to inform you about this from their own expertise. We would therefore like to invite you to the webinar “Dangerous goods and compliance – preventing and managing crises”. Based on a real-life case, the speakers will give you practical tools to prevent and manage crises involving dangerous goods.
For whom
Because of its broad nature, this webinar is of interest to anyone dealing with legal aspects of compliance in dangerous goods logistics: safety consultants, safety experts, logistics managers, QHSE managers, directors, legal staff, regulators and permit issuers.
