Last Saturday was a great day for Special Cargo Services: at the Job Fair at Schiphol Airport, we met several promising candidates to join our teams. “Definitely worth repeating, this event. A great way to bring supply and demand together in a focused way.”

The Aviation Community Schiphol Job Fair was held at Schiphol Airport on Feb. 4. HR Officer Imran Shafiq of Special Cargo says, “It was a very productive day! We met many enthusiastic people and valuable applications are still trickling in. We look forward to exploring possible collaborations with these talents.”

Why Special Cargo?

Due to steady growth, Special Cargo is continuously looking for logistics professionals: warehouse workers, logistics workers and dangerous goods workers. Why would you want to work at Special Cargo? That question is easy to answer, says Hugo Krempel, Logistics Support Supervisor: “In this ambitious family business, you can develop and grow within different (logistics) disciplines. Employees are always there for each other, and no day is the same. You work in an international environment and come into contact with different cultures. Add to that the fact that you will be working in one of the logistics hotspots of the Netherlands – Rotterdam Europoort or Schiphol Airport – and the choice is easily made.”

Missed us?

As many as 1,500 candidates – job seekers, students and scholars – walked around the Job Fair. “Therefore, unfortunately, we were not able to meet everyone there,” says Imran, “So in case we missed each other: we are happy to meet again!” Imran can be reached by phone 020-655 6265 or email hr@specialcargo.nl.
