What is an ADR certificate?

The ADR certificate, also known as an ADR diploma, is a European-recognized certificate of competence to transport dangerous goods within Europe. This page answers several questions about this document, such as: when is the ADR certificate required, what does the new ADR badge look like, what types are there, when and how is the ADR certificate renewed and can a foreign ADR certificate be renewed in the Netherlands?

How do you apply for the ADR certificate?

Before obtaining or renewing an ADR certificate, you must submit an application form to the CBR/CCV for the new ADR badge. The pass will have your passport photo and signature on it. You can send the application form directly to the CBR or hand it in to the instructor on the 1st course day. After submitting the certificate, you still need to pass the ADR exam.
