ADR training is a course based on the regulations governing the road transport of dangerous goods in Europe. The “ADR course” usually refers to the driver’s certificate of competence course. Types of ADR training
The ADR talks about 9 different courses. In addition to the 4 modules for the ADR certificate of professional competence for vehicle drivers, the ADR lists a number of more or less specific education and training courses. ADR training in the safe handling of dangerous goods is the basis for various training courses, such as the “Working Safely with Hazardous Materials”, “ADR for Managers”, “Competence in Handling Hazardous Substances (PGS-15)” and the many customized corporate training courses. Another mandatory ADR training course is the “Road Transport Safety Advisor” course. ADR training is also mandatory for persons handling gassed containers, and persons involved in loading and unloading dangerous goods must also take ADR training.
