All Dutch ADR exams are administered by computer in a CBR office.
Applying for ADR exams
Only approved ADR trainers can purchase the beginner’s exams and reserve them in the candidate’s name. However, re-examinations can be requested by the candidate.
Be on time
In any case, you must be present 15 minutes before the start of the exam. Bring a valid original ID and the invitation to the exam.
Sign up
Upon entering, sign in via the registration kiosk with your reservation number. This number is listed on the invitation.
Info via screen
Through your reservation number on the big screen, you track your status.
“Logged in” – “Stuff in locker” – “Go to start exam”.

Some exam locations have detection gates. Through the detection gate, go to the “Start Theory Exam” desk. After checking your ID, the CBR employee will give you a table number.
Start exam
You enter your reservation number on the computer by touch screen. The program explains how the exam works and what features you can use. After that, you start the exam.
Duration of the ADR exam
A maximum length of time is set for each module.
ADR Basic – 45 minutes
ADR Basic extension – 40 minutes
ADR Tank – 30 minutes
ADR Class 1 – 30 minutes
ADR Class 7 – 30 minutes
End of exam
Upon completion of your exam, your results will appear immediately. Want to know what mistakes you made? Then tap the question number with the wrong answers. You get two minutes to see the incorrectly answered questions.

To be sure of an exam seat, we purchase exams as far in advance as possible. We purchase the exams so that they can be taken as soon as possible after the completion of the course.
